On an unusual wet, rainy day when the yard is flooded, a girl named Allis looks outside and sees a small figure parachuting from a sweet-gum tree. Curious, she goes outside in the pouring rain and meets an extraordinary talking frog wearing a suit-coat and a tie.

At first she doesn't believe her ears, but then her sister Elsa, joins them. Together, they sit in the rain, on the very wet day with water, water, everywhere, while the witty frog tells stories of his adventures as an extraordinary frog.
