Story
Whether a visitor to, or a native of, the great and ancient metropolis of London, the listener will be drawn in by this book's strange and sometimes horrendous tales about this global melting pot of a city. It discusses in detail some of the demons, ghosts, and life-essence stealers who inhabit London's netherworld and call it their home. This book's tales of hauntings and terror deal exclusively with that hugely haunted area of London known as the West End which has the famous Piccadilly Circus at its centre.

Story
This essay resulted from an article written by the author, for a website in the United States. It tells of how four of the greatest British authors of the Gothic period, at one time or another, came to visit or stay in the ancient seaport of Whitby, on England's rugged North Yorkshire Coast. Charles Dickens, Wilkie Collins, Lewis Carroll, and Bram Stoker all came to Whitby and its surrounding area during the 19th century, and received direct, or in some cases and as the author proposes, indirect inspiration for the wonderful works they wrote.

Story
This is a short history of the famous old seaport of Whitby, from the ancient Celts, right up to the present-day Steampunks and Goths, who I must say have revived the town's spirit and made it an even more interesting and exciting place to explore. Whitby has many connections not just with England, but with the far corners of the world; this due to its ability to produce first-class explorers like Captain Cook and the Scoresby captains, father and son.

Story
This booklet covers most of the known Christmas customs at this famous old seaport. It is based on the script of a radio program that I wrote and narrated for BBC Radio Cleveland in 1991 and it was broadcast on Christmas day of that year. Whitby was the port where Captain Cook, the famous Royal Navy explorer and navigator learnt his trade from Quaker shipbuilders and he no doubt experienced, if not participated in this book's customs as a young apprentice seaman.
