Magic?

I didn’t realize when I started this pandemic story that magic would be such a big part of it. I think it was entertaining enough. I don’t know if I care enough to read more in the series.

Incredile storyline

I was immediately taken by the magical grasp of this story!!! Some may be able to relate some not but I felt myself thinking of Harry Potter which I love as well. Patiently waiting for the next

this book was fantastic! Julia Whelan is the BEST narrator on the planet!!! one of the beat Nora Roberts books I've ever heard!!!

Loved It

I don't usually like "witchy" stories, but these characters touched my heart.... it feels like "suffer not a witch to live" takes on a different kind of meaning in my mind.

My listening of Year One

I read this book in paperback. A lot of was left out of this audiobook. I felt it took some enjoyment from my listening

Rarely do I listen to such a fantastic book! Fantastic story; so well written with characters who make you laugh and make you cry......The author ties them into the fabric the story; weaving them in and out. The Narrator has done an amazing job; subtle accents and pacing to fit each characterl!!
I cannot wait to listen to the next book in the series!

My favorite chapter is Chapter 10.....the "childbirth" will make you laugh and appreciate the agony as well....Loved every minute!
