Great thriller

I liked the story a lot, and I especially loved the narration. Great job everyone!

This is a great story, unputdownable!! Also loved the noir feeling of the narrators inflections.

This hit the mark with suspense, plot building and keeping you on your toes. I love how the author instantly grabs your attention from the beginning.

This was a great book to listen to. Lots of twists and an predictable yet unpredictable ending. it was a tad bit off when the male narrator did the female voice bit I got used to it. looking forward to more from this author.

Don’t Keep It To Yourself

It felt like oversharing but not. In graduate school they always tell you when writing a paper or essay not to write the way you speak. Here, it seems to have worked out for Brandon Massey. It is a very good book. I was captivated and gripped from the beginning to the end. I was also very annoyed. Atlanta was the background and I love that. But he didn’t portray Atlanta so much as he portrayed tourist Atlanta. The main characters went to places that people who come visit Atlanta go. People who live in Atlanta understand that you want to go to Beautiful or Big Daddy’s. Houston’s is a chain restaurant. The characters felt well developed. I would have light to have had a bit more interaction with the lead character’s mother and stepmother. It felt like they had more to offer than what was given. I thoroughly loved pretty much everything. The climax started really early in the book and kept going up. The ending…while good, I would have liked to know what was the outcome of the best friends. Lastly. I love a good villain. Love! One that knows no ending and has to keep going and pushing for their cars until they are metaphorically dismembered. This was a great villain. I appreciate not knowing the villains story too early on in the book. It gives too much insight. Overall! Great book. Great book. I cannot wait to read the rest of his works.

I truly enjoyed this book

Great story line! Narration was good as well. I've been a reader all my life and can't believe I just recently heard of Brandon. The last few books I read were written nearly 20 years ago, but the stories are timeless. You have a new fan!

I’ve been searching for this book since 2009 when I misplaced my paperback, listening to this book has brought back so many different memories and I got so much better with my worldly understanding at the young age of 30 now. Brandon massy you are amazing!

Definitely an interesting read

I enjoyed the narrator and how he made the characters come alive. The story started a little slow but quickly picked up.

Did it in one day! Couldn't quit. Beware of the pretty faces. It could kill.
