Publisher's summary

"This isn’t what I dreamed about. Can’t my marriage be better than this?" Yes! Who you become as a wife can impact the intimacy, passion, and joy in your marriage. But how do you get there?

In What’s It Like to Be Married to Me?, Linda Dillow challenges you to ask yourself risky questions: What does it feel like to be my husband? What is it like to make love with me? Why do I want to stay mad at him? Extremely intimate and honest, Linda shares the best and worst things she has done in her nearly 50 years of marriage as she leads you into God’s heart for what your marriage could be.

With guidance for making your own Marriage Purpose Statement, What’s It Like to Be Married to Me? is about knowing the difference between having a desire for a better marriage and setting the goal of having a better marriage—as you look in the mirror to see how you can change. In fact, this is not an audiobook about marriage at all. It’s a book about how to live out your marriage, day by day and year by year, as you become the wife you long to be and watch it impact your marriage!

Life Changing!

This book is life changing and revolutionary! this is not your usual marriage-advice book, but approaches the subject from a new perspective. We've come out of prudishness of the Victorian era and are going back to true passion. The author writes like a conversation and is full of wise, and very practical Bible-based advice for wives. I loved it so much I have given it as a gift to brides and friends going through a mid-life crisis. If you want it to, and allow it, this book can spice things up for you. I recommend any book written by Linda Dillow. She's the wise, gentle, older role model we'd all love to have in our lives - but don't let that make you think that this is a boring book - far from it, it's real and it's spicy!

What's It Like to Be Married to Me?

Just Ok, She asks some really really good questions, that gets you thinking about yourself!
But, she does reads a LOT of verses from the bible!
The reader i find to be a bit robotic in her speech.
That got on my nerve a bit!
I have to admit I have only listen to half and i am finding really hard to finish listening to it...

The need to focus on designing our role in marriage versus letting things just happen.

Practical lessons in the book as well as tips to implement immediately. Helpful and much needed in today’s marriages.

Tons of Mispronounciations

Lots of well known words for a Christian were mispronounced, making me think the reader had no idea what she was reading. Content was okay, but huge focus on sex rather than daily ideas of what is is like to be married to me. would not recommend.

The book is great, but narration is lacking.

Narrator reminds me of a Christian radio announcer, and over enunciates almost like English is not her first language. She also mispronounces Colossians and says "two Corinthians" or "one Timothy" instead of first and second. After a while it becomes quite annoying. I would reccomend a written copy over the narrated one.
