Publisher's summary

Narrated by Richard Armitage and Grace Grant — a breathtaking new romance from #1 New York Times best-selling author Lauren Blakely that will sweep you away!

A British accent is my weakness...

Good thing I can avoid that kind of temptation in my new job in Paris. And when my company hooks me up with my own personal translator, I should be on the fast track for success. Except, he's charming, witty, and, oh yeah, he just so happens to be British, which means everything he says melts me.

Don't mix business with pleasure. I do my best to resist him as he brings the city to life for me. Soon, I can navigate the streets, discuss perfume with my co-workers, and barter at the outdoor market. But I also learn how to tell the sexy man by my side how much I want him to kiss me under the streetlamps.

Except there's a catch — I can't have him.

***

One more assignment before I take off on my big adventure...

And it's a good farewell gig too since my newest client is a fetching American who loves to explore the cafes and cobbled streets while I teach her the language of love. We fall into a fast and flirty friendship, doing our best to resist each other. But you know what they say about best intentions. Soon we're spending our nights together too, and I don't want to let her go. The trouble is, my wanderlust is calling to me, and before we know it, I'll be traveling the globe to fulfill a promise I made long ago.

What could possibly go wrong with falling in love in Paris? Nothing...unless one of you is leaving.

A coming together of three true talents...

Le sigh. What can I say? I'm a sucker for a romance that pulls a smile out of me while also tugging on my heartstrings. If you think this is nothing more than a fluffy love story with nary any sort of substance, you're sorely mistaken. Griffin and Joy have their respective reasons for being in Paris, but while she feels like she's finally able to live beyond the humdrum of her life in the US, Griffin is living a life away from London that's half-inspired and half-dictated by a bucket list handed to him by his late brother Ethan. As much as Joy wants to feel like she belongs in Paris, Griffin doesn't give himself the chance to feel the same, feeling the desire to wander about take over. While Joy may often find herself lost in translation, Griffin is simply lost, his brother's passing having altered the direction of his life in more ways than one. Listening to Armitage and Grant bring Blakely's story to life made me believe I was actually listening to Griffin and Joy share their unique tale of love and language in the City of Light. It was a coming together of three true talents. I'm highly recommending you give Wanderlust a listen. Five-plus stars. ♥

The Joy of Wanderlust

I absolutely loved everything about this story! The narration is perfect and really brought to life not just the characters but the city as well for me. Time waits for no one, so we must live the best life we can!! This is one of my favorites in 2018!

Talk about melt your heart sexy and just divine storyline. Plus throw in that broody, sexy Brit, the and the city of love Paris. Boom a 5 star hit, that will guarantee to make you a swoony mess.
Plus OMG Richard Armitage voice!! !If there could be death by a voice I would be a goner.
Yes, this could have happened.

Time to plan my next vacation!

I am huge Lauren Blakely fan, but this book by far has moved into my favorite. Blakely took me on a trip to Paris, one that is so visual and so romantic, I am not sure that the actuality of going there would ever live up to the expectation! Joy has come to Paris to start her life fresh. Paris is giving her the chance to promote her career and now with Griffin start a path to romance...Griffin is such an interesting character, both charming and good looking. But that is not what Joy has fallen for. These two characters have such depth and realism, it is easy to get caught up in their romance, and try and nudge them to stay together! The locations around Paris that we get to see, from the coffee/tea shop, chocolate, angels, pink doors and caricature artists we get a good look at what most tourists don't get to witness. With these excursions, I know, I was feeling the love and chemistry these to had. But with Griffin's wanderlust and previously made promises and Joy's opportunities, would their relationship survive? What a trip we get to go on, one that everyone should take and enjoy!

With a book like this, narration is key, and accents need to be spot-on. The choice of Grace Grant and Richard Armitage is brilliant. Armitage is the incredible as Griffin, and let him do his French accent any day. It is perfection. Grace Grant is always wonderful and these two together are complimentary of each other making this listen one of the best I have heard.

J'adore absolument ce livre!😍😍❣

This book was so completely mesmerizing and on point!!
I truly felt as if I was there and experiencing life through Joy's eyes.
Griffith was oh so yummy and his French accent along with his already sexy British one, was phenomenal.
Griffith's words that got to my very soul: "Someday when I look for lost hours, these are the ones I want to find"

Wander lust

I was born and raised in France but left my country in 1975 to join my father to NM Albuquerque. I have retain my French although it's hard when you leave in a place where it is not practice. When I read this book you brought back so many lost memories. It was like I was back there going and walking through the street of France. Love this book which brought me back to memory lane. Thank you,
Mathilde

Her best yet!

I’ve read most of her books. This is now my favorite. It is sweet, hot and introspective. A must read. Lauren, I love hearing your inspiration for writing this book. But I also loved hearing your voice & wondered if you ever considered narrating one of your stories?
