Morning by morning new mercies I see.

Was a hard story to listen to very sad and honestly incredibly realistic for too many but regardless of your life situation it’ll speak to you and the ending makes it all worth it.

Powerful Book on Love & Loss

This book captures your attention from the 1st page. It is captivating with the characters and storyline. It will certainly give you a new appreciation for anyone who has lost a love one to a drunk driver and a reality check into the system. The scriptures at the start of each chapter was fantastic - my favorite part! Powerful story! Karen Kingsbury is a spiritually gifted author! She allows the Lord to share His message through her books! Praise God - we need more authors like Karen Kingsbury!

Best reader

I've listened to many many books. Barbara Caruso, the one who read this book, is the best I've heard. She has a very comfortable voice, great emotion, varied voices...excellent, just excellent!!!!!

Awesome! Great is thy Faithfulness oh Lord!

At first I truly struggled to listen to the story because of the grief I felt in my heart for the characters, it was though my life story was being told again. As I continued because I couldn't stop, I am reminded of God's love and His faithfullness. We live in a fallen world and tragedy is going to happen but it is not God's fault.

Age matters?

Powerful, believable. I had a sense for where the story was going from the outset. Nonetheless, I thought it was very much worth the read.
That said, I’ve never experienced this with any other book, but at the outset I thought this was the story of a younger woman than the reader’s voice suggested. Now finished, I have accepted the image of a who is older than the narrative might suggest. Hate to say that, given that I thought the narrator did a Very good job with all other aspects—cadence, portrayal of characters’ emotions, etc.

Very well written. Great characterizations. We find ourselves asking questions about how we would deal with unexpected issues and their relationship to our spiritual journey!
