Publisher's summary

Chilling chronicles of the most haunted places and things on Earth....

Why has there been so many hauntings and paranormal in our past? Most of the time, science can explain occurrences of weird things. But how about other happenings like haunted objects, strange ghostly beings, and evil entities? How can you explain a beautiful ghostly figure mingling with the living and vanishing right before their very eyes?

Most people are in agreement that when we die, we hope that our spirits, our very souls, will carry on to a better place, beyond human comprehension.

This mentality, this desire, has been a basic tenant of mankind for thousands upon thousands of years. And yet, if this is true, then why are certain places riddled with spirits?

Why do they continue to haunt and appear till this very day even though these entities may have been there for hundreds of years? Only time will tell....

In these books you'll discover some of the most scariest and downright terror filled stories of our time. We'll visit some of the most haunted asylums, houses, Ouija boards, and even haunted dolls in the world. Prepare yourself for this ride, it's going to be a scary one...

Could have been better

The stories weren't very well researched, with a good number of them having just been taken from various web forums. The editing wasn't very good, with several places repeating itself.

If you just a time killer filled with mostly rehashed well known stories, go for it, but if you are looking for something to challenge the mind, with facts, figures, and something new, this isn't it.

Should be in the fiction section.

Halfway through this book, and I don't feel like one story in this book could be remotely true. There are stories about pyramids, pirates and video game ghosts. It's a little far fetched for even a believer in the supernatural.
