Interesting, well written, I liked it

I have mixed feelings about this book. Generally I don't read books that deal with infidelity but this book sounded to interesting to pass up so I gave it a go. For a book in the erotica section it sure managed to cover a lot of relationship information as well.

Yes there was lots of erotic scenes but that wasn't all it was. It also had a lot to say about how easy it is for a relationship to go from strong to rocky and the challenges of being deployed to a war zone. Overall I really enjoyed it and I'm glad I gave it a go.

The narrator did a good job, the book is the thoughts of the main characters so there are no character voices. The delivery was well done, it had a natural rhythm and was enjoyable to listen to.

Quick true story

This was a very interesting book for me as it wasn't in my normal scope of books listen to since it based on a true story and it focuses not only on the story but gives some advice in it as well. I enjoyed the steamy sex scenes as well as the looks like the military life that was going on at the same time. It was well written and gave an in-depth look into what was happening at the time the affair was going on as well as what happened afterwards.

The narrator did a good job performing this book. This is the thoughts of the main character so he did a good job portraying them and expressing them as you would if you were thinking them yourself. There was a good tone and speed to the narration.

short but decent erotic short stories

For erotic short stories, it was decent. The narration was good and the stories were well written. I wouldn't burn a credit on it, but if it is cheap it might be worth picking up.

Just OK

Trigger Warning: Adultery. So I've been noticing the disparity between romance and erotica between male and female authors. they tend to write for their own sex for what their gender wants to read/hear. This is more than just viewpoint but as deep as what each sex finds attractive and sexy. Although this book was pretty well written, it didn't resonate with me. the MC has an affair while deployed and the author tries to justify this because his wife gives him "permission." The erotica scenes are quick and the author shows he doesn't really understand women. The writing is less erotica and more porn. The narrator did a decent job but tended to be more on the monotone side.

It's about an affair, be aware!

ok look....this book is basically the details of an overseas affair. If you can't stand cheating, STOP NOW! If you don't mind than I'll say this book is more of a contemporary military romance that is from the male POV (thus more graphic on the sex). The two main characters are deployed and find comfort from their reality in each others arms. They are both aware of the others situation at home but they don't really care because being deployed sucks. It's not true love, just stress relief.
If you don't mind being in the head of a cheating, wordy, preachy, wannabe religious, selfish a-hole than it's a quick listen. No more, no less.
