A Dark Disturbing Account of Real Evil

Kevin Pierce delivers another great narration, he is perfect for True Crime narratives and helping some of the less than stellar editing/writing. Olsen and Morris have a huge following of their True Crime books that compelled me to give this one a go. I wish I had picked any other of their books instead of this one due to the horrific brutality, tourchor and murder of children: by the very people they look to for love and protection. A very, very, very difficult listen; however, I am glad I stuck with it learning just how manacled; teatherd the hands of these courageous people are. Unsung heros who deal with the insurmountable frustration due to judicial procedure's that protect these evil monsters (usually the parent/s) preventing closure to some of the most horrific of these cases. Though the authors do not mention this narrative directly, the fact of it stands out all the same if truly listening/reading the contents; because that's what I took away from these unthinkable evil crimes, the men and women who face, persue, capture and attempt to convict them and not always successfully........
