The National Mall in Washington, DC is considered the nation's "front yard". Visitors from all over the world come here to see the collections held in the various Smithsonian museums that sit on the mall. Intent on going inside, most never notice the buildings themselves - works of art in their own right.
BrightPath Tours would like to change that! With our walk around the National Mall, we will take you to each of these buildings and discuss a variety of topics that will include the history of each site, the origins of the buildings, and the people who gave us these magnificent structures.
Starting at the Department of Agriculture, we'll move up the mall toward the US Botanic Garden, then we'll cross the mall and head down the opposite side, ending at the National Museum of African-American History and Culture - the newest and last of the buildings erected on the mall.
Join BrightPath Tours as we take you on this fascinating walk past the buildings that everyone enters, but few look at before they go inside!
