For people who never traveled before

It would be helpful to include in the introduction of this book that it is for old people in the mid-west of the United States who never traveled before. "tips" like "buy your plane ticket in advance", what hotels cost and "neutral colors (on clothes) can make you feel sophisticated too" are utterly useless. I have my plane ticket and hotel and know how to get dressed. There is nothing in this book about the history of Florence. It states "enjoy the renessanse" as an activity. Well, duh. This guide was not for me.
