Fell short

Spend the money on the actual book which gives you the basic food templates to follow as you plan your week. Others may not need this,but I found that I do.

Will get you in the right frame of mind, BUT

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

You really need the hard copy to refer to the various recipes and lists of what to and not to eat during each phase.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

There really is no story line although it does help in getting you excited about the journey ahead

Would you listen to another book narrated by Arthur Agatston?

He wasnt as bad as others reported. A little monotone but not bad

Did The South Beach Diet inspire you to do anything?

Yes! I am going all out and down 8lbs in the first week

Downloadable references would make this a hit. Do yourself a favor and get the hard copy. There are some amazing ideas and recipes that you can't get here.

Yes, I would recommend this audiobook to quickly learn about the South Beach Diet. this book contains lots of good information

I could read/listen/learn very quickly. it only took 2 hrs.

The audio book does not have suggested foods. You still need to buy the book. But you will really want the book when using the program for daily or as need review.

Good but would like to follow along if wanted to.

I like the fact of the book being read to me due to I can listen in the car. But I would like to be able to follow along in the book if I want to while at home.

GREAT LIFE STYLE!

I’ve been on many, many diets throughout the years and have kept my weight down for over a couple of years on a couple of them. This diet, The South Beach Diet, is exceptional because it not only teaches how to achieve positive results but also why. Plus, there is NO measuring, NO exacting menu plans, NO required weigh-ins.
I’ve learned a lot and will listen to this again whenever I drift back to old, self-destructive behaviors.
