From USA Today best-selling author Julianne MacLean comes an emotionally charged tale about the power of a dream, and the importance of never giving up on second chances.

While recovering from a heart transplant, Nadia Carmichael is haunted by a recurring dream that sets her on a path to discover the identity of her donor. Her efforts are thwarted, however, when the father of her baby returns to wreak havoc on her life. It's not until Nadia learns of his estranged brother Jesse that she begins to explore the true nature of her dreams, and discover what her new heart truly desires.

Enjoying the series

Would you listen to The Color of a Dream again? Why?

I might listen to it again. To refresh my memory for later books or something. Over all, it wasn't my favorite story. But it was ok.

Any additional comments?

I do not put spoilers in my reviews. So I will only add that it was a good story to listen to. Especially since it was so short. It contributes to the rest of the series so far.
Also, I really enjoyed that there was both a man and a woman narrating this time. I wish more romance audios would use a man/woman team or just a man to narrate.

wonderful

Loved this continuing story of the Color of Heaven series. The author touches on many of life's and society's realities and challenges as well as personality types and how they affect those in their path, often unaware of this.
I look forward to future books in the series.

Over the Top!!!

Wow, wow, wow!!!! This is the fourth book in the "The Color of Heaven" series and this one just blew me away. I am so glad I joined Audible Escape and started listening to Julianne Maclean's fantastic series. It seems that each new story draws me in deeper along with the outstanding narration. Bless you, JM. I have found the difference in having the right narrator speak in your ear when you are ready, makes all the difference in a story. It's like watching a movie and then watching the same movie in 3D with a fantastic sound system, truly mesmerizing. I am looking forward to starting book 5.

Remember it's fiction.

Overall a good, thought provoking book. The author took some liberties that, in my opinion would not happen in real life. That's why it's fiction. Enjoy the read and lose yourself for a bit.

THE COLOR OF A DREAM

Never stop dreaming or believing. These stories are very uplifting with a touch of sadness at times but the happiest over shadows that sadness very quickly. As I have said before I love this series and look forward to my next read or listen.
