Publisher's Summary

Q: HOW MANY ZOMBIES DOES IT TAKE TO RUIN A SOCIAL LIFE?
A: NOT MANY.
Megan Berry is a Zombie Settler by birth, which means she's part-time shrink to a whole bunch of semi-dead people with killer issues. All Megan really wants is to go to homecoming, but when you're trailed by a bunch of slobbering corpses whenever you leave the house, it's kinda hard to score a date. Let's just say Megan's love life could use some major resuscitation.Megan's convinced her life can't get any worse - until someone in school starts using black magic to turn average, angsty Undead into scary, hardcore flesh-eating Zombies. Now it's up to Megan to stop the Zombie apocalypse. Her life - and more importantly, the homecoming dance - depends on it.

Pleasantly Surprised

Because this book is priced so low and lacked any reviews, I was reluctant to spend the money. But I am so glad I did. This is a really good YA zombie book. It has a good plot, is interesting, and funny. I don't know if the author plans on writing a sequel/series based on this character, because she easily could, but if not the story ends in a good place and left me satisfied (I plan on purchasing more books written by this author in the future).

About the narrator: I think they got the right narrator for the book. She's got the right voice for a teenage girl and the performance is golden.

Overall, this audiobook is well worth the cost.

Jay Stacey, NOT Stacey Jay

Got this book despite the plot sounding less than ideal for my tastes because I've enjoyed Stacey Jay books. Don't get mixed up like I did - this is Jay Stacey! Silly mistake.

This book was entertaining for a YA book, but sooooo annoying when the main character constantly makes the same mistakes over and over again (eg "Im the only one in the world that can solve this problem and I shouldn't discuss it with anyone else first"). I could hardly stand to finish it.
