Great YA book

The third in the summer series was great--what I expect to close out the trilogy. I gave the story 4 stars for a few reasons: (not really SPOILERS ahead, but just in case, consider yourself warned. )

-Jeremiah seemed to have taken on a new personality--what happened to the sweet kid from the previous installment?

-We are supposed to accept that Belli and Conrad had a much deeper relationship that previous told in the earlier book, so the arc that their relationship takes in this one is a little jarring.

-The story ends a little abruptly. I would like to have known a few more details in the intervening years.

All in all, a great experience, though. I enjoyed the series and would recommend it to any YA....or adult!

A touching tale

this book, and the entire trilogy for that matter has a really special sense to it, you really believe the characters relationships and conversations and stories and the bonds they have are so relatable to real life experiences. The writing is eloquent and flows beautifully, it feels as though you could loose yourself in belly's world and i felt entirely immersed in her problems and her pain almost began to pain me. My only complaint would the very slight repetitive nature of the story, it started to feel like the same things were being said a few too many times and it could've moved a bit faster however overall its a beautiful, heart breaking story which touched me deeply. Thank you Jenny Han for a wonderful experience
