Great story and performance

I really enjoyed this book! The performance was fantastic and helped me enjoy the story even more. There where some twists and turns I wasn't expecting, specially at the end.

unexpected

Hesitant at first to read the series but when a friend recommended it as "sci fi murder gossip girl" I had to find out what she was talking about. I am glad I did, it was a quick and easy listen and once you get past the robotic, weirdness of the narrator and look past some of the poor performance of characters reactions or responses it's a good listen. I like the fast pace to it, the unraveling of characters and simultaneously entwining other story lines unknowingly to them was great. I know it is a trilogy so that makes more sense as to why the ending felt so fast and final but I can't wait to see if it continues through the series.

Captivating

This book was captivating and intriguing. The dynamics of all of the characters really amplified be complexity of the story of each of their lives. I am super excited listen to the second and third books of the series especially because of the narrators inflection.

From slow to HOLY SH!T

Not realizing that this was a series, the long exposition. was tiring. . . then it got confusing.. . .then it was outstanding. the secrets and the deception was just as good as Dangerous Liasons.

Intoxicated teens in the future.

Everyone's got a secret in Katharine McGee's debut YA series The Thousandth Floor, set in the distant future where Manhattan has become a solitary 2-mile high tower where altitude is everything. The lives of five teenagers are intimately entangled in the social microecosystems that exists inside the tower, but while some struggle to climb ever higher, others will plummet to the very bottom. Sex, drugs, alcohol, forbidden tech, and forbidden love well drive them all to the edge of the roof at the top of the thousandth floor.

AMAZING

Oh my god! This book is incredible! I biiiinged the first two books in this series in one week. If you liked the Hunger Games, Divergent, and you typically like murder mysteries -- this one will be SUCH a fun listen. Love the characters. I am just wondering WHY this book hasn't exploded yet in popularity - I assume it will, and they MUST turn it into a movie series because that would be seriously awesome. Also, the narrator for this book is AWESOME. One of the best I've heard.
