Sam was wonderful!
The narrator is the reason I bought this book and he is Amazing! He brought the characters to life and I hope that he narrates longer stories in the future. I already liked the Shadowhunter world. Sam just made it exponentially better. Good choice Ms Clare.

Perfect narration
Sam Heughan can read to me anytime. What a soothing yet expressive voice he has. Throughly enjoyed the book and have listened to it twice already. Anxious to get the whole series to listen to.

Narrator
I enjoyed listening to Sam's voice as the narrator for the book. He did the voices very well and brought the characters to life. His Scottish accent was a real asset, and you should have him narrate future books.

Of course we all expected Simon and Clary to end up as Parapatai, so this isn't a spoiler. But the storyline and events leading up to it in this book are unexpected and interesting.
On a different note, I do hope there will be more on Mark Blackwell, maybe Book 9? He is a fascinating storyline and deserves to be rescued. I would like to see more about the existing Blackwell family in general as well.

Loved loved loved it as a Mortal Instruments Infernal Devices addict I'm Overwhelmed. ...the TRUE love story is so profound I kept crying ! if you didn't read ID you won't understand the references to Will Jems Parabati aahh the Bromance. Although I'm not sure about ClaImon their bond exists/existed beyond SH and is undeniable...what about poor George
