The Christmas Journal is about the "relationship" between an estranged father and daughter.

Upon her mother's death Ashley, the female lead, was sent to live with her aunt.

Several years later she returns home to find a Father, home, and lodge, she hardly recognizes.

Ashley works with her father and a handyman, Cy, to reopen the lodge in time for Christmas.

This was a Good Well written short story.

Barbara Nevins Taylor did really well with this Heart Warming Holiday story.
