Excellent Read

Napoli gives a revealing depiction of what happened to Italians in WWII.A subject not often written about in popular fiction. Eye opening and informative, she wraps your heart around the characters and their plight.

What would have made Stones in Water better?

The book is very slow and the performance lacks vitality.

What could Donna Jo Napoli have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

I would be reluctant to read another of the author's books.

Would you be willing to try another one of Christian Rummel’s performances?

I would be unlikely to seek out another one of Christian Rummel's performances.
