Publisher's summary

"When I was just nine years old, I began learning how to become rich by playing the game of Monopoly®. If I'd just been lectured to about money management, financial responsibility, and investing, I doubt I would have listened and I doubt I would have achieved financial freedom early in life. Instead, I might be stuck in the Rat Race working hard, deeply in debt, and worried about keeping my job or having enough money for my retirement. But because I enjoyed learning when I was young, I wanted to learn more. I was on the road to financial intelligence."
—Robert Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad Poor Dad

You're never too young to start! In Escape the Rat Race, you’ll find out:

  • How "working to learn, not to earn" paves the way to money-making opportunities.
  • The basics of making money by creating assets.
  • How to make money work hard for you, so that you don't have to work so hard for money.

From the author of Rich Dad Poor Dad - the #1 New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Business Week, and USA Today best seller.

Great Story, Okay performance, but not for me.

This feels like an episode from an 80s sitcom/drama. Which, if you're into nostalgic acting then you might enjoy this short story.

The voice acting would be dated even for today's kids. I was trying to see if I could gain some insight for my kids in the near future (age 9 and 6) but I would say they would probably not listen to this story.

For where I am in life (34, family, small business owner) I do not recommend it. It's basically a "Rich Dad Poor Dad" excerpt.

Great Book!

This book simplify the art of "Thinking Rich," and building assets over unnecessary spending.

Excellent summation of the Rich Dad story for kids

Highly recommend for kids, and just bought the graphic novel to have my kids read.

An accessible entry point into Rich Dad, Poor Dad

Intended for young people, this title is useful (and not altogether too kidsy) as a way for adults to find their way into Kiyosaki's "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" self-help finance franchise, too. It only covers the most preliminary concepts, but you do come away with some helpful tips on how to view the world of money, and it leaves you in a mental space where you feel a little more prepared to dive into the titles for adults. If nothing else, it explains (for those who've never cracked open any of his books) how Kiyosaki has both a rich dad and a poor dad, and how that works.

A kid’s audio but an adult could have a bit of a paradigm shift in an hour.

My kid would have liked it to be longer. We play Cash Flow for kids some evenings and hearing this audio was another building block of understanding. Thanks, Robert.
