Publisher's Summary

Have you ever craved something so badly that all reason was just an excuse getting in your way?
Have you needed something so desperately that you didn't care how you got it or who you hurt in the process?
I have - and not that long ago.
Acceptance.
Acceptance...from family and friends....
Acceptance of the person I am inside and not outright rejection.
It didn't come easily for me, and now I believe the world needs to know just how ruthless life can be. How that overwhelming yearning for acceptance can mold you into someone you don't recognize when you look in the mirror. I'm through hiding behind one facade after another - it's time for the world to meet the real me.

Sets A Bad Example

Any additional comments?

Frankly, I was a little disturbed by this audiobook. Antoinette (Anna) craves acceptance but tries to find it with much older men. I can forgive a naive teenager for this obsession but I have a hard time with a gym teacher at her school, who's married with a child on the way, having an attraction for a 15-year old. I didn't like the example that was set here. It is NOT okay under any circumstances for a high school student to date a teacher, regardless of the outcome.

The narration was okay but I'm not sure that I would recommend this.

I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator. This review is my honest opinion.

Revelations

What did you like best about Revelations? What did you like least?

I really liked Aundrea Mitchell's reading. I did however, find it hard to follow sometimes because it kept going back to her journal writing and her signing it...I had to rewind it a few times just so that I understood everything.

Would you be willing to try another book from T. Marie Alexander? Why or why not?

Yes I would be willing to try another book by T. Marie Alexander, because other than getting lost a couple of times in this book doesn't mean that the story wasn't good & it doesn't mean that I didn't enjoy it, but would love to see if the next one is even better. :)

Did Aundrea Mitchell do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

she did...you could tell the different characters

Did Revelations inspire you to do anything?

I wanted to keep listening.
