Better sense of the past

When I first started listening to this one, I thought it might drag a bit. But I found myself getting emotionally tied in with Daniel more in this book and I think that kept it from dragging for me. Passion gives a much better sense on just how tortured Daniel has been watching Luce die in front of him for 5000 years. You get a better grip on the pain, depression, determination, devotion, and love he has surrounding her. While the story was told from Luce's perspective, this book really was about Daniel in my opinion. I felt a little confused and not quite fulfilled at the ending, but it did leave a nice setup for book 4 (Rapture, out in 2012).

You can't grasp a love story that spans this far with just a simple explanation. You simply have to live it...with Passion.

Needs a better narrator

I love these books so I was excited to listen to #3. So far so only complaint is the narrator. Luce is supposed to be 16 years old and the narrator sounds like my grandmother. A younger voice would help the listener connect better with Luce's character. Sometimes I forget I am listening to a book about a teenager.
