Critic Reviews

"A story filled with adventure, intrigue, and unexpected twists. Series fans will demand this title." ( Library Journal)
"The story line combines Irish, Hawaiian, and Indian lore to create a rich history that is at once unique and familiar. Teens will identify with the actions and feelings of these shape-shifting river seals as they struggle with their role in Petaybee's transformation." ( School Library Journal)

Just as good as the original series: Petaybee

The story picks up several years after the original series left off but don't worry if you have not read the Petaybee series, it is a great ride either way! The plot stands on it's own with some elaborate twists. McCaffrey is still as Master at her craft! Ramirez is a full cast in himself.
