Publisher's Summary

Beloved by fans across the nation, Melissa de la Cruz’s Blue Blood novels, set in the lavish world of Manhattan’s vampire elite, have earned her a spot on the New York Times and USA Today best seller lists.
Lost in Time follows half-vampire Schuyler and her Blue Blooded bondmate Jack as they head to Egypt in search of the Gate of Promise. But what they find upon arrival in Alexandria isn’t at all what they had hoped for. Everything Schuyler thought she knew about the Gate turns out to be a lie, and they soon find themselves ensnared in a deadly battle against the demon-born. Schuyler and Jack take up arms, only to realize that there is a much graver threat simmering in the Kingdom of the Dead.
Meanwhile, determined to save the only vampire she still loves, Mimi has followed Kingsley Martin into Hell. With the help of her new human Conduit, Oliver Hazard-Perry, Mimi makes a bargain with the Queen of the Dead that she may soon regret. When the time comes to choose between love and revenge, both Mimi and Oliver will learn the true meaning of sacrifice.
Confronted by danger, betrayal, and loss at every turn, the Blue Bloods must find the will to fight—and love—another day.

Very Good Book, Great Narrator, Poor Cover

I really just wrote this so that hopefully someone from Recorded Books might see it, so I can say, "Heh, what's up with the horrible drab cover?" Way to show you really do believe that you can't judge a book by it's cover. It's like you people are purposefully trying to insure that it will get no one's attention, lol.

If you could sum up Lost in Time in three words, what would they be?

Couldn't put down!

What other book might you compare Lost in Time to and why?

I read a lot of syfy; when I read the last book, Van Allen Legacy, I was extremely disappointed. This book completely made up for the last one! I was riveted from minute one!

What does Christina Moore bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Ms. Moore is a good narrator. I find her voices a little lacking, but all in all she adds to the audiobook.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

YES! I listed to this book in a day. I was extremely pleased and look forward to the final installment and the wrap up of these characters I've been listening to for years.

Any additional comments?

Definitely worth the read!
