Enjoyable

I want more. Longer please! More details. Beautiful. I love the depth of new characters and I miss the old voice of the Casts. Beautiful descriptions and lead to the Other world. I knew Kalona had something. It only makes readers curious about his brother, Nyx's heart, the Other world. Subtle hints at a deeper plot of darkness. When you think you know everything there is always more to expect. I'd love a Kalona series. Maybe he is in the Other world books...the voice over is done well. Clear voice and great impression of Nyx. The guys sound weird. lol I loved the book. I love the Casts!!!!

Great series!
I absolutely love the HON series! These smaller books help you understand why each character is the way they are, and how they got there. It makes the story come full circle!

it all makes sense.
it all makes sense now listening to it and reading it, it all makes sense of why Kalona did what he did and how he got back into the good graces of Nyx. the narrator did a phenomenal job and I can't wait to read more

DUH!!
I love the HON series and all its characters! P.C. and Kristin make you love even the worst of characters. This book is no different. They make you want a Kalona of your own!
I truly love their "in the beginning" concept! From beginning to end you cannot help but be overtaken by this beautiful world view.
The Cast women are absolutely magnificent revisionists! You want to visit their worlds over and over again.. . .well. . . I do!
