Nice Book, Good Story

Judy Blume is one of my 10 year old son's favorite authors. We listened to this together on a long trip. It was a good story, nice reader. The author attempts to tackle prejudice and I think she did a decent job putting this into a book for kids. Side note, I was very happy that my 10 yr old did not know what Negro meant, and we are black...that shows progress in America. I certainly knew what it meant and had heard it far too much when I was 10 yrs old.
