It was ok, I'm interested to see what happen next. Though the similarities between this and Vampire Academy are staggering.

love the narrator love the author

I don’t know why people are complaining about the narrator, I chose to read this book BECAUSE of Justine Eyre. I wish she did more. The story is great also! I have yet to read a Jennifer Armentrout book that I didn’t love.

why isn’t there a bigger following for this one????

i am a huge FBAA fan so i decided to try one of JLAs older series and it did not disappoint! such a sweet romance and lively story, not near as spicy as FBAA but it was still awesome and good for younger readers i would think

Great story and narrator

I stumbled upon this book and I couldn’t be happier. The story is so good, you fall in love with the characters. This is definitely one of my favorite series of all time. Would highly recommend you give it a try!

Greek Gods, Hot Guys and Nasty Demons

What made the experience of listening to Half-Blood the most enjoyable?

I really liked the premise of the book. It took Greek mythology to a different place by having it present yet hidden in "present" time. It shows what happens when people with power aren't careful or don't care about the consequences of their actions.

This book has good plot devices and good character development. Even though this book is considered YA, I think anyone who reads other YAs along the lines of Divergent, HP, Twilight, etc would find this enjoyable.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I like Alex a lot. She really needs a filter for her mouth but you know she wouldn't use it even if she had it.

What about Justine Eyre’s performance did you like?

I love Justine Eyre. She is a great narrator

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

I like the title of the book as the title of the movie

Its a good start to the series. There are 4 books total and it is a really good story from start to finish.
