Eloquently narrated Audiobook, timeless story for all ages

The Little Prince is a beautifully written story with a thought provoking story-line. I am dabbling with Spanish these days therefore thought about listening to El Principito (The Little Prince):English-Spanish Dual Language audiobook, to test myself. I was very impressed with the narration in both languages, as one can hear that it's done by native speakers. I find this to be very important when one wants to learn the correct pronunciation. The diction is praiseworthy and makes the story more engrossing. I loved listening to this audiobook and highly recommend it for kids as well as adults. What a great way to practice your listening skills in both Spanish and English, irrespective of which is your first language.

Perfect book for Spanish learning

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Overall: This book really helped me with my Spanish learning, I never tried audiobook learning before, but after this book, I get used to listening a bit everyday on my way home and also continue at home.

Performance: The sound of the language might be one of the most direct source to learn language, listening to stories is more comprehensive to me. At first I had the English version—The little prince at hand, meanwhile listening to the Spanish to review all of the important words(Also they have English version at the later part of the audio if you never know this story). Afterwards, I can just listen to the audiobook, and try to retell the story based on what I’ve heard of.

Who was your favorite character and why?

The little prince, I like the part him being a explorer, instead of working in an office doing the 'he don't know what that it is' job.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

El Principito—This story is very interesting, easy to understand, and also full of useful vocabularies for me to learn. I would choose this book other than some complicated academic books.

Fantastic way to practice Spanish!

I've been studying Spanish for a few years, and this audiobook was a great way for me to practice! I especially loved using the PDF to follow along and make sure that I was hearing everything correctly. I mostly listened to the Spanish section, and the reader made it easy to follow along as well. She changed her intonation noticeably for the narrator, the prince, and all the other characters. The story was interesting also. I would definitely recommend this audiobook for anyone trying to brush up on their Spanish or get back into it after a break!

Excellent for any Beginner

This approach to learning Spanish is so much more effective! I love the fact that the Spanish spoken in the book is clear and simple not to mention the interesting story that goes along with it. By listening to both languages, it really helped reinforce the Spanish words with their meanings and you really start to get used to the flow and structure of Spanish. It particularly comes in handy when you're learning verb tenses and conjugations. Instead of constantly writing and repeating tenses and conjugations, actively listening to both and matching the terms is much more natural and effective.This book really gave me a much needed refresher on Spanish and I feel much more confident in my ability to conversate in Spanish. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that wants to work on their Spanish.

Great book!

I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook. The speakers, Stoker for English and Garcia for Spanish do an excellent job of enunciation so I can understand the words clearly. Love how the narrators go back and fourth with the same passage, it helps to strengthen enunciation and lets me get more familiar with verbs in the Spanish language. I am much more comfortable speaking and learning the Spanish language because of this book. Would recommend to others! A fantastic product!

high quality audio

This audio book with different voices like a spectacular is good for adults and kids. High quality audio on Spanish and English languages makes you want to go back to it again and again. This is one of those books that you must reach out to. And in this performance, it is perceived in one breath! 

Spanish part was hard to understand for me only because I have started learning it a month ago and have not learned much yet. But English part was easy to understand. And listening to this audio book helped to improve my English pronunciation. 

Excellent, Fun Way to Brush Up Your Spanish Skills

I have not spoke or intentionally tried to understand Spanish since taking Spanish courses over five years ago. While I excelled in my studies, years of not putting what I learned to use caused my skills to wear off. Thanks to this book, I am bouncing back and beginning to remember and recognize Spanish rules and words. I wish I would have had this book when I was actively learning Spanish so that I could have learned how to enjoy learning Spanish without much frustration. This book contains a cute, yet wise story line that you will love; it makes reading Spanish a lot more fun, even for beginners. It helps those once solid in their skills pick up where they left off without the frustration of reading and writing rules over and over again. I highly recommend listening in Spanish and following along with the English PDF. You will be surprised at what you still remember and how easily this book helps you understand words and conjugation of verbs in a much simpler way.

Great for Spanish Speakers

Being Cuban and only knowing how to speak broken Spanish, this book has helped me confidently learn how to conjugate verbs and use the correct nouns and pronouns. I highly recommend this book to those who are learning Spanish also, but especially to Spanish speakers who want to improve the way they formally speak the language.

A good book to improve your Spanish

El Principito is fantastic for brushing up one's Spanish and/or a good supplement for people learning the language. The narrator moves at a speed that is easy to keep up with, although at points it feels a bit fast paced. She also does a good job of changing her voice so the listener knows who is talking during the story. Another plus is that the story also comes in English, so if you're new to or aren't too confident in your Spanish, this would be a good way to know whats going on before listening to the Spanish version as you can inference the words being used. The English version is also enjoyable and will keep you engaged in the story.

In all, this was very pleasurable and helpful to listen to and would recommend it for novice Spanish speakers

Sweet way to help learn Spanish

This book was an excellent resource for helping to learn Spanish. I enjoyed being able to hear of all the adventures of the Little Prince on each Planet, first in Spanish then hearing it told again in my native tongue (English) further solidifying what I knew I was hearing the first time!
