Bought to practice French, was taken on a journey

What did you love best about D'un monde à l'autre (La Quête d'Ewilan 1)?

What a lovely story! It is a older kid/young teen story, and a very charming one.

I loved how the young characters were developed, and how they faced obstacles while remaining believable. What youngster wouldn't like to have super powers to face evil, even acting a little recklessly?

What does Kelly Marot bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I love Kelly Marot's voice, which I came across while listening to the French version of the Hunger Games. I bought this book just to listen more to her, and wasn't disappointed in either narration or story.

She really brings emotion to her characters' voices without overdoing it, and is pleasant to listen to in descriptive paragraphs.
