A newer grittier Harry Potter
Sever Bronny has come up with a new twist on popular wizarding or warlock stories. The young orphan boy, bullied by all, finally discovers his hidden talents and other surprises. An entertaining listen. I look forward to sampling the author's other works.

Exceeded my expectations
I listened to this book without knowing anything beforehand. I was looking for something mature, but I got positively surprised by something from between. It took me a little while to get hooked since the beginning felt overused (not that it's a bad thing by any means). Fortunately, my expectations were overthrown by a fun and exciting adventure in the spirit of Harry Potter. Thanks to Audible Plus, I got to listen to Arcane from the catalogue that comes with the subscription. Well worth a listen if fantasy is your thing. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series!

this story starts slow and get better with time
this is a really good series. the first book is kind of hard to listen to. the second book is slightly better. the third fourth and fifth books are excellent.

Amazing story
I really loved this story. It was captivating, fun, and adventurous. I really liked the heroes and really hated the villains which to me sets the story up for some really great possible twists.
