Can Not Recommend!!!!

After reading Dot Hutchinson's second published novel, "The Butterfly Garden," I wanted to read her other and first published work. What a disappointment. This is a work that romanticizes death and suicide with poetic and flowery language. I found myself rolling my eyes throughout its telling and was glad when it finally ended. I wished that I had returned it.

Slow & Dull!

The only thing I found even remotely enjoyable about this book was the narrator. She's dead, then she's crazy, then she's a ghost.
3 hours in and I give up - much better elsewhere!
