From the number one New York Times best-selling author comes a new explosive thriller.

Mind Game takes Jane MacGuire back to Scotland, where she continues her search for the treasure she's been chasing for years. But now she's being plagued by dreams of a girl in danger. Who is this girl, and what is she trying to tell Jane? And will Jane figure it out before it's too late - for her and the mysterious young woman? Things are further complicated when Seth Caleb comes back into Jane's life. This time he's the one in trouble, and Jane will find herself pulled unexpectedly into his world as she fights to save him.

The Imperious Jane!

Not quite done with this book and had to stop to write a review to let off some steam. I've read all the Eve Duncan's novels; loved them all, never had a bad reaction to any character before this one. While I love the closure re Jane related McDuff treasure and the storyline overall, I find Jane imperious in every sense of the word and can't imagine anyone wanting to be in any relationship with her or within any proximity to her. Trying to understand why she has evolved into such a contemptuous character from the author's perspective; where's she going with the character? Don't think I would be interested in any future novels that she would be the central character in. I love the mysterious Seth Caleb character and the insight into him; but certainly hope this is the end of Jane-Caleb storyline! All the character spinoffs from the Eve Duncan series are fantastically compelling storylines on their own that I will continue to read excluding Jane.

Love Love Love

The Eve Duncan series, with all of its spin-off characters is one of my all time favorites. This one did not disappoint. How long do I have to wait for another?!

So many self important people

I like this series but it get so frustrating when every character wants to be the “ strong, stubborn , independent “ type even when it make so logical sense for them to insert themselves in situations when it’s not their strength or fortay .

Great book

It's Johansen is a great Author. I haven't read a book she wrote that I didn't like, and the narrator really brings the audio book to life.

Poor Attempt, in my opinion.

I picked this book due to the high star-rating, which was my totally fault. Please listen to a sample before purchasing.! I had 8 hrs and 41 minutes to go and I couldn’t stand another second. The “heroine” is so unlikable thatI find it hard to describe my distaste. The narrator is beyond over the top with dramatic intensity and the over-done accents and Scottish (?) brogue. I was a huge fan of Harlequin Romances when I was 16, and maybe I would have found it worthy then, but as an adult who loves a wide range of mysteries, this is just BAD. I rarely write reviews, but unless you are a fan of the series, you will do yourself a favor by avoiding this compilation of words. I gave it 2 stars because the author actually wrote a whole book and the narrator read a whole book. 2 stars for completing a task.
