Make Me: A Jack Reacher Novel by Lee Child| A 15-Minute Summary & Analysis

Preview:

Jack Reacher is a curious man. However, his curiosity may just get him killed this time. In Make Me: A Jack Reacher Novel, Lee Childs spells out the winning combination of adventure and suspense. When Jack Reacher gets off the train in a middle-of-nowhere town, he is met with more than he has bargained for. This town is shaded in mystery.

However, in the course of finding what is happening behind the scenes, Reacher stands a chance of losing his life. What is going on in Mother's Rest? How did he become involved?

The questions seem to pile higher than the answers as Reacher helps private investigator Michelle Chang figure out why her colleague called her in for backup. What they find shocks them more than they ever could have imagined.

Please note: This is a summary and analysis of the book and not the original book.

This companion includes the following: book review; character list; summary of the chapters; discussion questions; analysis of themes and symbols.

This analysis fills the gap, making you understand more while enhancing your listening experience.

Too much like a middle school book report

I presume this was written on the condensed version. He sounds like a middle school teacher reading a student's book report.

This missed the essence of the character Jack Reacher, ATTITUDE. Jack doesn't guess, he's Certain.

The missing innuendo and strong arm tactics are central to the character. They define the character.

We all know Jack.

If your a Reacher fan, you know how he thinks. You know why he does the things he does. I think you should just read the book and be entertained and enjoy the journey.

disappointed

I didn't want to listen to someone telling about the book. I wanted to read it for myself. Disapointing.

Be careful when purchasing... Summary and Analysis

As for analysis goes great but was expecting the book. My mistake... just be aware.... these are not all full length books.

What was the point???

Not really sure what the point of this was. Got through about 10 minutes and had to stop. This was kind of a narrator telling a very condensed version of a story and doing a review at the same time as doing a play by play. Glad this was free or I’d be asking for a refund.

Boring!

Boring! Good story line but the summary jumps around way too much. The analysis is nonsense.
