Publisher's summary

America is in the middle of a second civil war. Tens of millions have already perished from famine and disease as the world descends into chaos. When federal government turns to the United Nations to subdue the remaining American citizens, those states that would not bow to this new order, known as The Republic, rise in defense. Nelson and his family are caught in the middle of the contested state of Missouri. With gangs, rioters, and federal and UN troops about, Nelson must face the rising storm that threatens his family's freedom.

As the storm front rolls in, the family and their friends must defend their stronghold and each other or be crushed under the heels of a corrupt government. Will Nelson become the citizen soldier the new America needs or will his own rebellion be vanquished before it can begin? A new defender is needed - who will answer the call before the storm comes?

End of the world with everything

About as unrealistic as possible and keeps getting worse. Would be nice if the world ended for all except you and you had everything to enjoy the luxury of modern day living. Not only had everything but could outfit your own army with everything, was fighting in combat missions and could only think about sex... pfft done with this series

complete fantasy

This is book 3 and Ive started following from book one.. I give up. so ridiculous that everybody has all the time in the world to prepare and all the money to afford it. Post collapse: now parents dont have to care of a small child that is still in diapers (child just pops in and out of the story periodically), everybody's perfectly fit muscular bound (bench pressings 480 pound 8 times) super trained worrors. They have electronic equipment and power to run it, drones and weapons that you can only dream of (including buggies with 50cal machine guns). I'm done with the book. I'm returning it. This is Fantasyland. Just plan awful

Baby I am going to &$%$&@#@%$&@ you.

I made the mistake of buying all three audio books, I was soooo glad this drivel finally ended The author spent more cute time writing about the shallow characters than the whole bloody mess the author calls a book. My fault I enjoyed a different book and was thoroughly disappointed in this series. The narrator was speed reading throughout the whole series, which I suppose was a good thing . Mr and Mrs Hero was sickenly sweet to each other and then were cursing like a drunken sailor at each other as soon as the next sentence. (Baby, will you go do something for me you &$%3% or I will cut your &$%3 off. Baby this ,baby that like preteen yuck !) Most of the book was a teenage love story .If you were not Mr hero.the narrator gave the other characters a "duh" voice and the.young children was constantly telling Mr Hero he was "so awesome". Mr Hero knew everything, saw everything and if you didn't like it Mr Hero would beat the &$+%&#%$ out of you.I have never returned a book but I am going to try with pile of crap.

Recommendation - An Excellent Series

The Forgotten Forbidden America is a "MUST" read and or listen for Books 1-4 that are on KINDLE and AUDIBLE. Joel Eutaw Sharpton is a great narrator as his voice helps evoke that emotion he brings each character and the storyline. Once you start reading or listening to this series, like me, you'll be totally hooked and waiting impatiently for the next instalment. I truly hope Books 5 and 6 will be produced on audible as well as any remaining books in the series that follows. You will not be disappointed in this series :-)

Lots of action, lots of dialog. Many characters have been developed and more have been added. Bubble warriors rock!
