Not in depth

Not as in depth as I would have liked. Also, the narrator butchered a lot of names that any basketball fan probably found annoying to hear.

not quite what I was looking for

Tim Duncan is an incredible athlete. This story gives an accurate account of his history. The problem is that it doesn't dig into what makes him so special. I want to know why he took an enormous pay cut to keep good players around. what was he thinking. how did he make that decision. He is full of decisions like that. He is a truly unique basketball player. I want to know more about who he is, and why he makes the choices he does.

I bought the book hoping to learn more about him. I learned more about what he did. But I learned nothing about why.

Ridiculously lacking insight

This "book" read like a bored 6th graders stolen book report. Nothing here that couldn't be learned from a google search. Author/narrator manages to mispronounce names of high profile athletes while staking his claim as. "sports fan." Don't waste your money on this guys product.
