Good ideas for beginner and seasoned soccer player
The narrator made everything sound easy. Also, the strategies in the book were plausible and easy to achieve. Descriptions were excellent and my attention never wavered. I never knew there was so much to playing soccer, but I can see now that it is a highly technical game that requires stamina and thought processes.
I would compare this soccer book to another Ace McCloud book on golf called Golf Strategies. This book and that one both prepare the player physically and mentally to play the game.
I have read the book too, and I think Mr. Mackey brings out things you might skip over when reading. He has a good sense of what to emphasize and when to bring out the best in a book.
I found the chapter on nutrition very good. Although I do not play soccer, some of my family members do and I was able to prepare meals before the game that helped them to keep up there stamina.
This book is good for a beginner and someone who has been playing soccer for years. It touches on just about every aspect of the game from the physical and building stamina, to exercising and working the physical end, to technical issues (the part about being a goalie we found particulary helpful) and preparing mentally. The whole book is essential to the young soccer player for sure and I even learned a great deal from the book.

The go-to book for improving your soccer game
Yes I would. I enjoy listening to Joshua Mackey narrate Ace McCloud's books. He has a catching voice that is never tiresome. He keep my interest from beginning to end. He has a clear voice and shows genuine excitement for what he is reading.
The excitement and interest in his voice. He does an amazing job with narrating Ace's books. It is easy and convenient for me to listen to the audio version on this book rather then read the book. I am able to listen to this while I am at one of my friend's child's soccer games! I can listen to it in the car or even while jogging.
My reaction to Soccer: Soccer Strategies: The Top 100 Best Ways to Improve Your Soccer Game, was that it is a very well written book on many strategies and helpful tips to help you improve at soccer. If your a soccer player, your going to want to read this book. I am definitely recommending this book to my friends who play soccer or have children who do. I think the will be highly appreciative that I did !
