A Quick Review

Michael Lewis tells the inside story of his best selling book (and eventually a feature film as well) Moneyball, along with the story of his high school baseball coach referred to as Coach Fitz. He relates the behind the scenes story of how he came to write the book initially and the controversy that followed it's release. In Coach he tells the story of how his high school baseball coach came close to losing his job for the exact same reason that a good number of his ex-players meet to honor him. A study of the differences between the kids of the early eighties and those playing at the same high school twenty years later. More to the point it relates the differences in the parents of those two generations of players.
