Think of this short story as a kind of "spark plug". Its truth will ignite the needed "click" you might be lacking to get yourself motivated or inspired.
When I was in my 20s, I found myself in a situation that created within me "the gift of desperation". It compelled me to take a leap of faith that could have left me in a world of pain had it all gone wrong. But somehow, I found my way. Since then, I've enacted over and again stunning occurrences that defy all explanation by taking more leaps of faith that have always taken my breath away every time but somehow mysteriously left me in safety and security.
General McArthur once said, "There is no security in this life. There is only opportunity."
I have found that by taking the opportunity at hand it has led me back to that territory we most often define as "security".
I recently attended a series of seminars entitled Causing Miracles. I was intrigued. I have had miracles occur over and again (as you'll hear in my story) but was fascinated by the idea of "causing miracles". Their premise is that if you create a "clearing" within yourself you'll create an environment whereby a miracle can occur. When I look back over the years the only common denominator that preceded every miracle was a clearing of sorts.
Until recently, I hadn't known that I'd been doing just that. I'd demonstrated to myself and the universe that I was willing to completely "let go" of my preconceived ideas about how this life works and was prepared to see it through to the end.
Even if you find the measures I took too breathtaking to undertake, I trust they will inspire you to think about whatever fence your sitting on and encourage you to make a decision one way or the other.
If you've found this story then you've aligned yourself not only with it, but all the stories throughout the world that resonate with this contagious energy.
