wow

I found the intro to be negative towards strong African American women who chose to wear there hair the way they want. This author's rant was just as biase as people who judge when black women choose to wear there natural hair. Its an individual's CHOICE and knowone else's business on how you choose to wear you hair.
Loved her ideals on caring for natural hair; but her veiws on why women choose wigs, perms, extensions etc.. was just that...her opinion. The sad part is it seems she took great pleasure in saying all African American women who wear there hair in any other style besides natural are weak minded and controlled by our society. The author used this book as her platform to belittle other African American sisters which in my "opinion" is just more of the same hatred sisters impact on each other day in and day out.
