Publisher's Summary

There is no bigger issue for healthy infants than sleeping through the night. In this simple, straightforward book, Suzy Giordano presents her amazingly effective "Limited-Crying Solution" that will get any baby to sleep for twelve hours at night - and three hours in the day - by the age of twelve weeks old.
Giordano is the mother of five children and one of the most sought-after baby sleep specialists in the country. The Washington Post calls her a baby sleep "guru" and "an underground legend in the Washington area for her ability to teach newborns how to achieve that parenting nirvana: sleeping through the night." Her sleep plan has been tested with singletons, twins, triplets, babies with special needs, and colicky babies - and it has never failed.
Whether you are pregnant, first-time parents, or parents who seek a different path with your second or third child, anyone can benefit from the Baby Coach's popular system of regular feeding times, twelve hours of sleep at night and three hours of sleep during the day, and the peace of mind that comes with taking the parent and child out of a sleep-deprived world.
Please note: This book has also been published under the title The Baby Sleep Solution: A Proven Program to Teach Your Baby to Sleep Twelve Hours a Night.

What was I thinking?

I know I had my desperate moments when my son was 10 weeks. There were so many advises out there that I was willing to take any to get at least 3 hours of sleep at night. And I bought this book and followed this book's tips for two weeks(thinking that by the time my son was 12 weeks I would have been able to achieve my goal of having him sleeping for 12 hours). Looking back, I can't believe I deprived my son from eating when he needed and I didn't enjoy those precious first days. Yes! Now at 16 weeks my son is able to sleep without that horrible regime. Why? Because his little stomach grew and he can sleep longer and not because I starved him to follow a cold advise. All I got from this book was for my milk supply dwindled and wasted time and money. I hate this book.

Waste of your time and money

This author just made a catchy title to make a sale. Please don't do any of the suggestions from the author to your baby unless you want to mess them up for life . Here's why:
1. Its biologically impossible for them to sleep 12 hours without eating or getting diapers changes at such a young age.
2. Baby's need contact, attention and love in order to feel safe and fall asleep. The book suggests you ignore them at nights. Don't talk , don't breastfeed and no attention during the night.
All of the suggestions are very extreme for any newborn even if they work, it can be damaging to your precious newborns
Please don't buy, don't listen to a single advice
Babies fall sleep on their own when they are ready. Their emotional need is as important as their feeding.
Also starving young baby for 12 hours can effect brain development
All of this is just awful. This book should be banned
