Pretty Good Stuff

I'll be honest and say that I thought this would be one of those really cheesey 'lets all be positive about everything' kind of books. But actually after giving it a chance I have to admit that this book really does tell it like it is and make a lot of sense. Some of the suggestions featured seem quite obvious now I think about it but thats just it!..I hadnt thought about it. The best thing about this book is that it really helps you to put yourself first...not in a selfish way but in such a way that you realise that to make others happy you have to make yourself happy first. All pretty good stuff!

Great book - bad narrator

This book is full of effective and sensible advice that really can help to make you happier. It's based on Rational Therapy - very like CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) two of the most tried and tested effective ways of changing your thinking, emotional reactions and behaviour there is. The only downside to this book is the narrator who seems to be trying to do a kind of exaggerated female Jeremy Clarkson impression. It's really annoying, but the book is so good it's worth suffering through.
