Questioning thousands of parents and educators, Dr. Wayne Dyer learned firsthand what people really want for their children. They don't particularly want their kids to go to fancy schools, acquire riches, or live "the good life". They do want them to have personal integrity and high self-esteem, and to grow up with love and peace in their hearts. Children raised the Wayne Dyer way feel useful and needed. They are inner- rather than outer-directed. They live a stress-free life naturally, without resorting to drugs.

Story
Couples therapist Dr. Tracy Dalgleish has spent the last seventeen years dedicated to helping hundreds of couples in distress find hope and healing, sometimes by staying together and other times not. Breakdowns in communication, lack of intimacy, infidelity, overbearing in-laws and exes (to name a few)―she's seen it all. Shortly after the birth of her first child, Dr. Tracy suddenly began to see herself in her clients' narratives.

If you asked the ancient stoic philosophers how to live a good life, they’d answer you in a single word: Areté. We translate Areté as “virtue” or “excellence” but the word has a deeper meaning—something closer to being your best self moment to moment to moment.

Great Full Rage Source for Self-Improvement
Dale Carnegie books were recommended to me as a way to become a better public speaker. When I came across this audiobook that covers several topics of interest, I used my free credit I received from trying Audible. I’m glad I did!
This course has given me a whole new perspective of public speaking. I was able to put into practice what I’ve been learning (part of the reason I got this audiobook was in preparation for speaking in front of about 100 people) and was really proud of the change I saw in my ability to speak to an audience.
I have committed to listening to a part of this every weekday and the other courses in this audiobook have been an added bonus in my life.
I highly recommend this book if you are looking to be a better public speaker, employee, leader, and person in general.
