I’m definitely going to listen to this again. I thoroughly enjoy Joanna‘s work and I think that she has some really great inspiration. I think I’m going to read this again and again. I really admire that not only is she so honest but she has the courage to keep putting this work out there. Truly unique!

the author helps you to understand that becoming a successful author is a marathon and not a Sprint. in a cogent essay on what it actually takes to be successful from a myriad of sources the author guide you through what it requires of a person technically as well as spiritually and emotionally to achieve a long-term goal.

Much better than the previous book I listened to. Some useful information, and no unnaturally long pauses between every sentence.

Remarkable book full of great advice!

I'm a big fan of Joanna's Blog, The Creative Pen. For years since I wrote my first book I've faced many problems to start and then finish my second and third books. Actually, I was on my journey to finish the third one when I experienced what some may call "writer's block", and thanks to the good advice found in this book I was able to find the real cause for my procastination and ending up finishing just in time.

I definitely recommend it. Thanks Joanna, I hope to follow your steps and create more content to share during my lifetime. Please continue with the wonderful work you do.

Gentle, straightforward advice

No earth shattering, brand new ideas for this new writer, but I can use every piece of advice she gave to build my career as an author. Spoiler: write more and be a good person. Good book, worth reading. Narrator sounded like a big sister giving advice.

Refreshing and uplifting

This is my second time listening to this book. The first time I wasn’t published and now I’ve come back after my first few bad reviews.

Felt like I wanted to quit writing and throw away all of my hard work. (Even though I had good reviews too) So thank you Joanna for encouraging me to keep going! I’ll probably come back to this book a lot in the future.

This is a great audio book, and inspires me to begin writing. I really love how she puts writing into perspective. I will listen to this again and again!
