Interesting perspective

Some interesting perspective on life. Some of stories were too much fantasy for me to relate to.

Healing from trauma and illness, this leads you on a journey to discover your own inner healing process.

The author/narrator’s gentle voice and way leads you to discover a peaceful path of healing. No judgement. No separatism. Just healing found through story, indigenous culture and a simpler path long lost in western civilization. I will listen to this again! So peaceful! So healing. Great insight never tells someone NOT to seek medical help when needed, but how the two can exist within one belief system. Well done!

Lovely and powerful

This book was so enjoyable! It was red with the essence of the stories intact. Many times I do not make it through an audiobook because of the reader throwing off the story being told. The author has many first-hand accounts that make the book relatable and inspiring. Now that I have listen to his stories I am doing research to learn more from him. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did!

Very helpful!

These stories are so helpful for anyone who suffers from something, which covers all of us. The narration is soothing and the information is so important in these pharmaceutical times.

it sounds like a story because it is a story and stories are the only thing we can actually ever have to our own self, which makes them very important to listen to and allow into your being

I really enjoyed listening to this book

This was an incredibly easy book to listen to. The authors voice is fluid- almost hypnotic and the way he tells the stories with an informal conversational approach makes this book captivating. It never seemed as if he was reading off of a page. I enjoyed the opportunities to reflect and meditate after listening to the Traditional Native American stories. The author seamlessly connects importance of community and helping each other as the path to healing. Its a beautiful message and it made me rethink how I work on issues within my own life. One person cannot have all the answers and healing cannot happen in a bubble no matter how determined you are.
