Enlightening and positive

I found the book to be extremely enlightening. I feel more confident in understanding myself and my struggles and feel more hopeful that I will be able to better my life. The reader (also the author) is engaging and pleasant to listen too. The material is thorough and detailed, with both examples and actual techniques to try. I would strongly recommend this book to anyone who is or believes they are facing social anxiety in their life.

It's good to know I'm not alone

incredibly insightful and helpful

This book outlines the story of my life. It's almost as if Dr Aziz wrote this book specifically for me. As a shy girl, I've struggled with debilitating social anxiety all my life. I am way too familiar with my negative inner critic, comparing myself to others, and playing it safe to avoid judgement. However, I know this book will change my life. Although I have known the cause of my anxiety, I did not know how to move past it even after therapy. This book offers very good tips and guidance on how to deal with setbacks, rejections, and the negative thoughts in your head that always seem to sabotage everything. Even if you don't suffer from social anxiety to an extensive degree, you could still learn a lot about yourself from reading this book.
