I am a newly transitioning black woman, being 18 and knowing absolutely nothing about how to take care of my hair this book answered every question I could've asked extremely throughly. Between a mix of this book and some fellow YouTubers my hair is on its way to great lengths. This is definitely a holy grail in black hair care and I know why! I will forever recommend this book to others I met along my journey.

A wonderful read (listen) & a wealth of knowledge. Thank you.

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the book, which was incredibly educational, wonderfully narrated and even entertaining. My 'story' was certainly told in this book; however, I am left even the more enthused and encouraged to forge ahead on my 'black hair journey'. I would highly and gladly recommend this to any and all of my sisters of color.

Thank you for your labor of love and selflessness Audrey Davis-Sivasothy!
