Very Disappointing Performance

Any additional comments?

Yesterday I downloaded this version because a reviewer of the "updated" version said that he didn't like the performance (it was a little robotic) and that the Jason McCoy version was so much more understandable. The audio sample on the website did sound more friendly.I listened through the first part, and I am deleting it from my device today. I don't like that it repeats itself (digital files don't "skip"!), and I really feel that the concepts can't flow when the performer consistently mispronounces words (not limited to, but in particular, "omniscient" and "omnipotent"). I still want the content, though, so I will download another audio version instead. This is my first review on Audible, and I'm sorry that it has to be so negative, but I feel that I must post this as a warning to others. This was so disappointing to me that I considered asking Audible for a "do-over", but instead I will chalk this up to my first sub-optimal choice among dozens of selections in the past few years.
