Publisher's Summary

Bishop Jordan has written a stellar work that is guaranteed to free the mentally enslaved, acquit the wrongfully charged, and bring healing to the sick. The Laws of Thinking is not a work for the shallow-minded person. It is demanding and challenging. It is neither intended to be used as the basis for unmerited criticism nor as sermon material for the minister having difficulty receiving a fresh work from the Lord. It was written with a very clear aim: to provoke spiritual thought. Bill Gates' Microsoft, Oprah Winfrey's Harpo Productions, Stephen Spielberg's DreamWorks, and even Bishop Jordan's own Zoe Ministries all began with a thought. Every invention, university, book, song, business, home, skyscraper, movie, stage play, and baby began when someone chose to think. Nothing happens without thought. Creation did not happen without God's thought. Bishop Jordan's first objective is getting you to think. His second is to help you understand the laws that govern the universe of thought. And his final goal is to help you organize your thoughts into a system that will ensure positive results in your life. The winners in life are not necessarily Rhodes scholars or the most spiritual, but rather the people who solve the most problems for their fellow travelers.

Powerful Book

I thouroughly enjoyed this book by Prophet Jordan! It has such a wealth of knowledge that I actually read the book, but still decided to order it online so that I could listen to it regularly. I think its lwas should be incorporated into our everyday lives. I highly recommend it.

Food for thought

This title has given me some great insights into how I think about certain goals and dreams in my life. Using this book with a pen and paper was the best method for getting the most out of it. I found I would listen to one chapter at a time, only to find myself making plans and having faith in dreams and goals that I would never have gone after before. Most of all, it has helped to realise the power of writing things down. Just that beginning, along with other advice in the book, has helped me immensely. The book teaches you the reasons 'why' you do things. And I'm a 'why' kind of person. If you're a 'why' person, and not just a 'how' person, then this book is for you. If you're a traditional Christian, there are some things that may or may not agree with your thinking, but you can choose to ignore them and take the good it has to offer in spite of differing opinions - as there is plenty of good on offer in The Law of Thinking.

I loved reading this so much I immediately restarted. There's a heap of messages to take on board, so actively listening is key.

Ultimately, a bit disappointing!

What was most disappointing about Bishop E. Bernard Jordan’s story?

The narration and delivery were fine and it was a well written book, but I really didn't learn anything very much. If you've read any of the Wayne Dyer books, then you needn't bother with this one. If you haven't, or if you are looking for a slightly more Biblical slant on the law of attraction, then maybe this will work for you.

It's not that I wouldn't recommend this book, it just wasn't for me!
