Publisher's summary

The honeymoon effect: a state of bliss, passion, energy, and health resulting from a huge love.

Your life is so beautiful that you can't wait to get up to start a new day, and you thank the Universe that you are alive. Think back on the most spectacular love affair of your life - the Big One that toppled you head over heels. For most it was a time of heartfelt bliss, robust health, and abundant energy - a firsthand experience of heaven on Earth.

Imagine what it would be like if you could maintain the honeymoon effect throughout your whole life.

Dr. Bruce H. Lipton describes how the honeymoon effect was not a chance event or a coincidence but a personal creation. Here, Dr. Lipton reveals how we manifest the honeymoon effect and the reasons why we lose it. This knowledge empowers listeners to create the honeymoon experience again, this time in a way that ensures a happily ever after relationship that even a Hollywood producer would love.

With authority, eloquence, and an accessible style, Lipton covers the influence of quantum physics (good vibrations), biochemistry (love potions), and psychology (the conscious and subconscious minds) in creating and sustaining loving relationships. He also asserts that we can learn from the example of the harmonious relationships of our 50 trillion cells to create a "super organism" called "humanity", which can heal our planet.

Good info but terrible narration

The author narrates the book, and it sounds like he is struggling to read. I'm not even picky about readers, but this was incredibly hard to listen to.

The information is very interested and laid out simply, so I enjoyed the topic but wish I had just read the hard copy instead.

One of my new favorite authors!

Will definitely be looking for more from this excellent writer! only two books on and I'm hooked. His scientific research backs up what shamans have known for millennia, but mainstream education systematically denies. Thanks for your courage and insight!

Enlightening to say the least

Now I understand why I am single. I had horrible parents. Which means I have horrible subconscious programming. Thanks to this amazing book, I now know what to fix and how to fix it. I also have resources to continue learning. Thank you Bruce!!!

Awful narration

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Yes

How did the narrator detract from the book?

The narration is awful. He's trying to read as fast as he can in such a monotone voice. It's very hard to follow.

Honeymoon Effect

What would have made The Honeymoon Effect better?

Better narrator. I couldn't even finish the book, the narrator made it impossible for me to concentrate on what he was saying. Sorry Bruce!

Has The Honeymoon Effect turned you off from other books in this genre?

No

Would you be willing to try another one of Bruce H. Lipton’s performances?

No

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

I can't say. I really, really wanted to listen to this book, maybe I will try to get it on Kindle instead.

Kinda falsely advertised outside this medium

The good first. Very insightful crash course on quantum physics and chemistry.

The interview with Bruce Lipton where I found out about this book didn't center around or I think even mention the topic of relationships. The part of the interview that caused me to purchase this book was him mentioning techniques to install a belief into the subconscious mind. In the book, he ultimately says these techniques are on his website and doesn't get into really those techniques at all in the book itself. I wouldn't had bought the book had I known that.

It's a bit refreshing to hear quantum theory back up all the stuff I've been studying, but at the end of the day, I've been studying this stuff already. All the illustrations about relationships felt like a waste of time that would've been better served teaching the practical methods. So if you're about to pick up this book for the same reason I did, just go to the man's website.
